Harrison Hudson: blood, sweat, and sweat

Blood, Sweat, and Sweat was recorded during the last few months of 2007 with producer Mark Nash (the Good Wolves, Celebrity). Moving away from the multi-layered, full band sound of their debut, Angels on One Side...And the Other on the Other, Harrison Hudson stripped down to a 3 piece for the new album, revealing a strong but simplified sound. In a recent review, ListenNashville.com described the album as, "self-effacing and sometimes viciously vengeful," and went on to say, "Hudson's guitar-playing and singing is raw and loose, giving the record an edgy, under-produced, one-take vibe...he is a clever lyricist whose words will sometimes catch you off-guard."

Manchester Orchestra / Annuals: split 7"

In 2007, Manchester Orchestra co-headlined a tour with good friends, Annuals. To commemorate the occasion, both bands went into the studio to record a cover of one of the other's songs. The Split 7" consists of two tracks: Manchester Orchestra's cover of "Brother", and the Annuals' cover of "Where Have You Been."

Manchester Orchestra: "wolves" uk single

In 2007, Manchester Orchestra toured the UK on five separate occasions. The UK single, "Wolves At Night" was released in early 2007, and included two tracks: "Wolves At Night", previously released as the opener on I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child, and "Sacred Heart," previously unreleased.

All Get Out: the spitting ep

All Get Out's first release, The Spitting EP, forever immortalizes the band's enthusiasm for spitting - literally - the band spits on each other at shows, at practices, and at their home in Charleston, SC. a snapshot of who i've always been ep

Joy In Tomorrow's debut EP, A Snapshot of Who I've Always Been showcases the band's ability to convey an experience through song. Joy In Tomorrow's Joshua said of the EP, "Although it may seem sad at it's core, it is all about having the worst day ever but getting up and trying it all again."

The five tracks on the new EP are labeled parts one through five and express pain and eventual triumph, although they don't play in chronological order (the first song on the EP is actually the final part of the saga). "It's uncomplicated, polished and anthemically sensitive" — Flagpole Magazine

Pasadena: the message in the wreckage ep

Pasadena's debut release, the Message in the Wreckage EP, was recorded in 2006 with Engineer/Producer Matt Malpass of marigolds+monsters Studio. The four tracks on the EP successfully represent the band's talent for catchy southern rock. Although this is their first release together, the members of Pasadena are seasoned musicians, and their polished maturity is heard in every country note.

Andrew Nelson: the dream has gone away ep

Andrew Nelson's debut EP, The Dream Has Gone Away, was produced, mixed, and engineered by Jeremiah Edmond (Manchester Orchestra) at Vintage Song Studios. Released in 2007, the EP consists of five folk-infused rock tracks. Nelson is backed by his band, The Shotgun Lovers, throughout most of the EP, but is also joined by a few friends including members of Manchester Orchestra, The Beggars' Guild, and Elevation.

The Beggars' Guild: breaking me down ep

The Beggars' Guild's debut EP consists of six tracks that effortlessly blend elements of roots, blues, country, folk, and pop. Breaking Me Down was recorded with Dan Hannon (Manchester Orchestra) at Vintage Song Studios in Atlanta, GA. Right Away, Great Captain!: the bitter end

The debut from Right Away, Great Captain! was recorded over three days in a 100-year old cabin in the mountains of Virginia. The rustic setting was the perfect fit for the lyrically-driven, acoustic folk album. Andy Hull, the singer/song writer behind Right Away, Great Captain!, has captured the saga of a 17th Century sailor who spends three years at sea over fifteen tracks, each song written as a journal entry. The concept album chronicles the first part of the sailor's journey. Hull intends the story to continue over three albums. Sometimes a memory of past events, sometimes a conversation between the sailor and his captain, the songs on the album communicate ideas of loneliness, pain, and longing, with gleams of hope for the voyage ahead.

Harrison Hudson:

Harrison Hudson's debut album was released in 2006, introducing audiences to the band's twangy, classic rock in fifteen tracks. The album was recorded and produced with Jeremiah Edmond at Vintage Song Studios. The band enlisted help on the album from some of their most talented friends including Manchester Orchestra, Estates, O'Brother, Aaron Shust, The Beggar's Guild, and Andrew Nelson & the Shotgun Lovers, all of whom participated on the album in some capacity. Deathway.com gave the album a 5 out of 5 rating, and said in a review, "Harrison Hudson explores the depths of love, relationships, spirituality and life in his lyrics...creating something beautiful."

Manchester Orchestra:
i'm like a virgin losing a child

Manchester Orchestra's full length release, I'm Like A Virgin Losing A Child, is a statement cinematic in scope — a series of emotional vignettes that unravel over the course of an elegantly conceived musical arc. Recorded in the summer of 2006 with producer Dan Hannon, the band recorded the majority of the album together live, transferring their intense writing process into the finished album. "The concept of the record is sort of my loss...My realization that I don't have control over anything. And that's a good thing. They're all personal songs in that every song is about me. In all of the loss there's still this hope I'm trying to convey." — Andy Hull

Chad Grischow of ING said of the album, "The solid balance between fiery chest-thumping anthems and intimate rock ballads and the impressive songwriting of Hull make this one of best debuts of the year."

Manchester Orchestra:
you brainstorm, i brainstorm, but brilliance needs a good editor ep

Manchester Orchestra's debut EP began as a concept album crafted by front man Andy Hull. However, with new band mates in place, the scope of the album began to change as the group molded their blended perspectives. The result of the collaboration was the aptly titled, five track EP, You Brainstorm, I Brainstorm, But Brilliance Needs A Good Editor. (2005) The Athens Music Foundation said of the EP, "Hull's insightful songwriting reveals a depth and maturity normally reserved for contemporaries twice his age. His compelling narratives tell harrowing tales of abuse, friendship, adultery, love, suicide and hope, all wrapped in the atmospheric glow of his hypnotic hooks."
