o’brother in the studio day 3

so we are heading towards the end of day 3 here.

so far, today has probably been one of the longest and hardest days.
we tracked ‘ascension’ which is one of our two long songs, so just imagine playing a really loud and heavy song like 15 times in a row…plus the song kicked the crap out of michael.

(side note - aaron just improvised something and it sounds SICK)

so yeah, we played the same song for like 4 or 5 hours. wore us all out like crazy. no matter what youre doing, if you stay in the same room for 12 hours straight, it just wears you out.

but we arent complaining, we are here doing what we love , instead of working at our normal day jobs.

we just cant wait to be done, cause it will be one step closer for us to just get out on the road and hang out with everyone!

since we were really busy all day we didnt take many pictures so here are the few that we did take.

o’brother in the studio day 2

day 2 here at vintage song studios. so this is what happened today.

woke up at 11:00 at j and chris’ house ate taco bell for breakfast (awesome)
got to the studio at 12:00 and started tracking the second song (sweet!)
around 5:00 we played basketball outside (humid)
overdubbed some guitars and got done by 7:00
on our dinner break, we drove back home to take showers and grabbed some clothes
got back to the studio at 9 and now tanner is tracking vocals for this song while he’s drinking beer. (talent!)

here are some pictures from today…

o’brother in the studio…

greetings all! We hope your summer has been filled with friends, family, and funtimes. We’ve been hard at work these past few months writing new songs for our upcoming EP which is yet to be titled.

We’re in the studio all this week and this is our second day here at Vintage Song Studios. We’re working with one of the coolest dudes that we’ve met in a while, his name; Fisher, Brad Fisher. So far things have been running pretty smoothly. We’re tracking all of our songs live which will give this EP the energy that we’re going for. We’re totally stoked on all these songs and once we’re done we hope you all with enjoy them too.

here are some pictures from our first day…
